Hello hello.
It's been a long time i'm thinking of getting involved into filmmaking. But i always thought that digital video sucks. And that 16mm was too expensive (dont even tell me about 35mm). Until TODAY.
I need about 5000$ to buy a decent hdv camcorder + a redrock m2 kit. What's this thing, you're probably asking. Well it's just the best invention ever : the oportunity of mounting your photo camera lenses onto your camcorder. And the results are incredibly stunning.
So yeah, i'll find a way to get this money, but i'll find it. And make music videos. And bjork will call me. And i'll make commercials. And then feature films.
Have you seen the science of sleep by Michel Gondry ? You probably know that it's autobiographical. And that he was my age, 23, working in the calendar factory when bjork called him. My current job is as boring as his, i'm confident.

Checked on the internet, everyone seems crazy about the panasonic hvx-200. But the cam itself + a hard drive to record on is like 6000€. No way. Do you know any of these listed cams ? |
